Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

  • 1 tbsp fennel seeds

  • 1 lb. ground turkey or chicken

  • 1 medium-sized apple, chopped

  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar

  • 4 cloves garlic, diced

  • 2 tsp sea salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • Fresh minced basil (optional, for topping)

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

Instructions:

1) In a skillet over low-medium heat, heat the cumin and fennel seeds for 5 minutes while stirring occasionally. Set aside and let cool.

2) In a large bowl, combine meat of choice, apple, coconut sugar, garlic, sea salt, black pepper, and cooled cumin and fennel seeds. Use your hands to combine the ingredients.

3) Begin making patties that are about ½ inch thick. This recipe will yield around 10-12 patties. Sprinkle minced basil on top of each patty (optional).

4) Grease a large skillet with coconut oil. Cook the patties over medium-high heat for 10 minutes, flipping the patties halfway. Use a thermometer to check the patties are cooked all the way through (165 degrees F). Enjoy!

  • 1 ¼ cups blanched almond flour

  • ¼ cup tapioca flour

  • ½ tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • Pinch of sea salt

  • 3 eggs

  • ½ cup almond milk, unsweetened

  • 6 tbsp coconut oil, melted

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Fresh berries and maple syrup for topping, optional

Instructions:

1) In a large bowl, combine the blanched almond flour, tapioca flour, baking soda, baking powder, and sea salt.

2) In a smaller bowl, beat together the eggs, almond milk, coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Add this mixture to the dry mix and combine all ingredients well.

3) Start to heat up your waffle maker (only coat with melted coconut oil if your waffle maker instructs you to).

4) Pour the batter into the center of waffle maker, evenly distributing the batter. Cook waffles according to your waffle maker’s instructions. This recipe will yield about 6 waffles.

5) Once waffles are done cooking, let cool before eating. Coat with fresh berries and maple syrup if preferred and enjoy!

Instructions:

1) Preheat oven to 300 F. Line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.

2) In a food processor, pulse the pecans and oats for about 10 seconds. Make sure they are not pulsed into a powder.

3) In a large bowl, combine the oat mixture, coconut flakes, raisins, and cinnamon, and mix well. 

4) Then, add in the nut butter, maple syrup, coconut oil, and vanilla extract. Mix all ingredients together well until evenly coated.

5) Transport the granola mixture to the baking pan. Press the mixture down to about ¼ inch and firmly together.

6) Bake for about 20 minutes or until granola is golden brown.

7) Remove from the oven and let cool for about 30 minutes. Use your hands to break the granola into small clusters and enjoy!

  • ¼ cup coconut milk

  • 3 tbsp coconut oil

  • ½ tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp lemon zest

  • ¼ tsp sea salt

  • ½ cup blueberries

Instructions:

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

2) In a large bowl, combine the almond flour, coconut flour, egg, sweetener of choice, 3 tbsp of coconut milk, coconut oil, baking soda, lemon zest, and sea salt. Mix all ingredients together well. Use a stand mixer if needed. Fold in the blueberries as you are mixing.

3) Use a biscuit cutter to form scones with the dough. Line the scones on the baking sheet.

4) Brush the remaining tbsp of coconut milk over the biscuits. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes or until scones are golden brown.

5) Store scones in an airtight container for up to two days and enjoy!
